Purpose: Benches along the trails, boardwalk and inside viewing structures serve many functions including allowing visitors to sit quietly and enjoy the area as opposed to hurrying along the trail and pausing briefly in the viewing structures. Once visitors are quiet and still, the chance to observe wildlife increases. A total of 23 benches would fulfill this need.

Description: Benches come in a variety of styles and lengths. Benches made of treated lumber are weather-resistant and last a long time. Benches could be donated as a memorial with the name inscribed on a plaque on the bench.
